Susan Lowell, M.A., B.C.E.T.
Susan C. Lowell, M.A., B.C.E.T., is a clinical educational
diagnostician and Board Certified Educational Therapist who provides
evaluations of learning disabilities and academic difficulties
including dyslexia, a language-based learning disability that
affects reading, spelling, and writing. Ms. Lowell serves as a Vice
President of the Board of Directors of the International Dyslexia
Association and is a Fulbright Senior Specialist award recipient.
Ms. Lowell is an advisor to the Office of Overseas Schools, U.S.
Department of State, and works as a reading consultant for the
international schools. As an adjunct faculty member at Simmons
College in Boston and at Buffalo State, S.U.N.Y., Ms. Lowell teaches
graduate level courses in reading instruction. Ms. Lowell also
trains teachers for ‘Brookes on Location,’ using research-based
curricula in phonemic awareness and reading instruction.
